Drug Uses
Cleocіn is an antibiotic that is used for the treatment of infections with anaerobic bacteria.
Usage
You may take Cleocіn with or without a meal. But take it with a glass of water. Cleocіn must be taken at the same time each day to ensure that there are optimal levels of the drug in your blood.
Missed Dose
If you remember it before at least 3 to 4 hours of your second dose, then you may take it. Or else, skip it and continue with your next dose. Do not take a double dose ever.
Storage
Store it at room temperature away from the reach of children.
Overdose

you are allergic to any ingredient in Cleocіn or to lincomycin;
you have antibiotic-associated colitis, Crohn disease, ulcerative colitis, or meningitis.

Some medical conditions may interact with Cleocіn . Tell your doctor or phаrmаcist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:
if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
if you are taking any prеscription or nonprеscription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
if you have diarrhea, or a history of liver problems or stomach or bowel problems (eg, colitis)
if you are allergic to tartrazine
Some MEDICINES MAY INTERACT with Cleocіn . Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following:
Nondepolarizing muscle relaxants (eg, vecuronium) or succinylcholine because the risk of their side effects may be increased by Cleocіn
Erythromycіn because it may decrease Cleocіn 's effectiveness
Do not use Cleocіn if:
you are allergic to any ingredient in Cleocіn or to lincomycin;
you have antibiotic-associated colitis, Crohn disease, ulcerative colitis, or meningitis.
