Drug Usage

Nizorаl may be given to treat several fungal infections within the body. It may be prescribed for topical infections such as athlete's foot, ringworm, candidiasis (yeast infection or thrush), and jock itch.

Usage

Nizorаl comes in tablets to take in orally. It also comes in an over-the-counter shampoo version. Nizorаl tablets should not be taken with antаcids. Have Nizorаl with a meal to avoid an upset stomach.

Missed Dosage

If you miss a dose of Nizorаl and remember soon, then take it as soon as possible. This helps keep the optimum amount of medication in your body. But on the other hand, if it is nearly time for the next dose, then just skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.

Storage

It is recommended that you store Nizorаl at room temperature (15–25°C (59–77°F). Keep it out of the reach of children.

More Information
